Bangued Christian Assembly is affiliated with Assemblies of God in Canada, which form a network of churches across the country.

At Bangued Christian Assembly, we firmly believe that God seeks to develop a personal relationship with each individual, which is why all of our activities revolve around reconciliation between God and people.

Our primary objective is to bring those who desire to experience the presence, power and transformation that God brings about in the lives of the men and women who decide to entrust their lives to Him.

« For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.» (1 Corinthians 1:17-18)

We believe the Bible is indisputable, true, and undeniably an infallible book. We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible and therefore sufficient authority in all matters of Christian faith and practice.

We believe that there is only one God present from eternity under the soul of the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (completely God, completely man) and that He came to live among us, that He died and rose again, and that by His resurrection every Christian can attain eternal life. . (2 Timothy 2:8)

We believe in the literal resurrection of crucified Jesus Christ, his ascension to heaven, and his intersession for all who put their faith in him. (Hebrews 7:25)

We believe that the person of the Holy Spirit is the third person of the divine trinity, he dwells in every Christian, and his presence is the factor that enables an individual to be part of the body of Christ. We also believe that it is the person of the Holy Spirit who operates the dynamics of the supernatural in the life of every believer.

We believe that it is also He who convicts the world of sin and judgment. We firmly believe in a subsequent experience of the call for salvation. Baptism in the Holy Spirit which enables believers to experience the power of God and to operate in the supernatural according to the direction given by the Holy Spirit. (John 14: 12-18)

We believe that when God poured out his Spirit on the Church, He made gifts to men for the common good. Among these gifts are: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, the gift of healing, working miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, diversity of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

^« To another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.» (1 Corinthians 12:10)

We also believe that each child of God can take authority over the dark world, that is, he can, after the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and as commissioned by Him, cast out demons and bring the captives to deliverance. (Matthew 10: 8, Matthew 7:22, Acts 1: 8)

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned by his disobedience and that therefore all mankind is held captive in sin, captivity which is manifested by his depraved nature. (Romans 11:32)

We believe that salvation and the forgiveness of sins are a free gift that comes from the grace of God. This grace can only be received by faith and repentance through Jesus Christ our Lord, the Only Begotten of God the Father. We believe that it is not works that save man, but the grace of God.

We believe that when a person gives his life fully to God (through repentance of his sins) the sins and mistakes of his old life are completely forgiven. God renews that person’s spirit and that person experiences what is called the new birth, which enables a person to become a child of God and a joint heir with Christ according to (John 1: 12-13 and Romans 8: 17).

From now on, the person is invited to learn, to hear the voice of God as well as to experience the glory of God in his life. We also believe that God calls us to make manifest our faith in a concrete way through our love for each and everyone. (James 2: 17-18)

We believe in the believer’s eternal salvation. We believe that every human being deserves to hear the good news and should have the opportunity to choose between salvation and reconciliation with God or coming judgment.

We believe that the “next step” for anyone who has made a personal choice to follow Jesus is to be baptized with water. Baptism in water is a public act of identification with Jesus Christ, His death and His resurrection.
